Prim cares a lot about Wednesday. A lot because Wednesday is genuinely a sweet person and a lot because that sweetness is going to get her hurt one of these days. In reality? It probably already has? Prim has felt protective over her very early on, trying to save her some of the worst trauma and trying to keep her from feeling too abnormal with her life in Tokyo-F.
Now, this isn't saying that this can happen all the time. Because Imeeji is just going to Imeeji sometimes. And while she wants to spare her the worst, she also understands that surviving so much and watching your friends die and get hurt instead must take some sort of mental toll on you.
Which brings me to the way that Prim saw, in her own mind, that Pep played during the Castle game. To preface, this is not negative! While Prim was a little panicked to see what was going on, and a little angry afterwards that Pep Pep even tried something so foolish-- she totally gets it. Pep wanted to give so that others could live. even if it meant risking themselves. And ultimately while their plan backfired, it all goes back to being tired of seeing your friends hurt and wrecked all the time and perhaps that move was what Pep was trying to prevent at all costs.
Did it damage their friendship? No. Did it hurt Prim that Wednesday knew the consequences and went ahead and did it anyways? A LITTLE. But they moved past it quick, and things are fine now. Overall I see these two moving in a positive direction. I'd love for Prim to be a little more open with Wednesday....and finally tell her what her real name is!!
As for a community upgrade with no questions asked? Hands down an axe throwing court!!!!
